    ■From Kyoto... Approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes
    JR Kyoto Station (via JR Sanin Main Line / Kyoto Tango Railway Miyazu Line) → Get off at Kyoto Tango Railway"Miyazu Station" → Approximately 10 minutes on foot → Takashimaya Takashimaya

    ■From Osaka... About 2 hours
    JR Osaka Station (via JR Fukuchiyama Line / Kyoto Tango Railway Miyazu Line) → Get off at Kyoto Tango Railway"Miyazu Station" → Approximately 10 minutes on foot → Takashimaya Takashimaya
  • - If you are coming by car -

    ■From Kyoto... Approximately 1 hour 40 minutes
    From Kyoto city center → National Route 9 → Kyoto Jukan Expressway, Kutsukake IC → Exit at Miyazu Amanohashidate IC → Prefectural Route 9 → Drive for about 5 minutes → Takashimaya

    ■From the Osaka/Kobe area... About 2 hours
    From Kobe or Osaka, take the Chugoku Expressway to Yoshikawa JCT → at Yoshikawa JCT, take the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway → at Ayabe JCT, take the Kyoto Jukan Expressway
    → Exit at Miyazu Amanohashidate IC → Take Prefectural Road No. 9 → Drive for about 5 minutes → Takashimaya Takashimaya
  • - Regarding parking -

    If you are coming by car, please use the free parking available.
    There is one parking space available per room.(Low bridge:2.1m or less)

    The parking lot is about 50 meters away.Upon arrival, please park your vehicle in front of the entrance.
    After you have unloaded your luggage, we will guide you to the parking area.
    *Please note that the parking lot of the neighboring apartment building is off-limits.
    *If you are arriving in a group of two or more vehicles, or if your vehicle exceeds the height limit, please use the parking lot at the roadside station located 200 meters away.
  • - Regarding transportation -

    Once you arrive at Miyazu Station, please give us a call and we will come to pick you up.(Time slots are negotiable.)
    On the day after your stay, we will provide transportation to Miyazu Station or Amanohashidate (Monju District) upon request.
    *Please understand that we may not be able to fulfill your request due to bad weather or circumstances on the day.

    ■Mikami Residence
    The Mikami family residence, a Kyoto Prefecture designated tangible cultural property, is a merchant house from the Edo period.
    It is said that they once ran businesses such as sake brewing, shipping, and silk trading, and were successful befitting a wealthy merchant.

    ■Kanahiki Falls
    This beautiful waterfall, measuring 20 meters wide and 50 meters high, is one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls.
    Every year on the last Sunday of July, the "Kanabiki Waterfall Fire Festival" takes place, where the waterfall erupts into a pillar of fire amidst the resounding sound of the Hinotaki Taiko drums.

    ■Catholic Miyazu Church
    Also known as "St. John's Cathedral," it is the oldest existing wooden church, built in 1896 by the Frenchman Father Louis Lerave.
    The interior is covered with tatami mats, and the ceiling is a dome-shaped structure known as a "bat ceiling."
    This church is a Romanesque-style church that blends Japanese and Western elements.

    ■Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three most scenic views.
    Amanohashidate, famous as one of Japan's three most scenic spots, is a sandbar approximately 3.6 km long, where a pine forest stretches out, separating Miyazu Bay and Aso Bay.
    It is bustling with tourists who visit regardless of the season.
